A Day in the Life of a MCT Actress
Anyway. Went to school. Had a really monotonous, miserable day. Obviously. I was at school. =P
Anyway. Then I got to go to play practice. It was pretty great. Apparently the other director, Christy-Anne (don't know how to spell it) had taught us some stuff wrong, so we had to re-learn how to do it. Our directors are great though. I think some of my favorites. They're both just really really funny.
And then we had lunch break. Annnnnd we went through the scenes, and then we were running early, so we got to play Maffia, which is basically the greatest game to ever walk the planet. Allow me to explain...
The Game of Maffia!
So, basically, you have 2-3 Maffia memebers. And a doctor or superhero or nurse or whatever, and the detective. And of course the townsmen. Oh, and a narrator! Now, the whole city goes to "sleep" and closes their eyes (without cheating or peaking!) and the narrator tells the Maffia to wake up. The maffia silently identify who they are going to kill, by pointing. The maffia are told to go back to sleep, and the narrator awakens the Superhero. And I've played it two ways. The super hero chooses who he wants to save, or the narrator tells the superhero who's gonna be killed, and the superhero decides whether he's going to save them or not (but he only gets to save one person!) The narrator tells the hero to go back to sleep and awakes the Detective. the detective silently points to someone, and the narrator tells the person (silently) by shaking his or her yead yes or no as to whether the person is in the maffia. The detective goes to sleep. Now it's morning and the whole town wakes up! And the narrator tells them who died, always coming up with some funky, crazy story as to how the maffia killed them. For instance, tonight the maffia shoved a carrot up someone's nose. *odd look* definitely the most unique one we've had. Anyway. If the superhero saved them, the narrator also comes up with some crazy way the person was saved. Then the towns people nominate who they think the maffia is. They nominate two or three people and then vote to who they think is the maffia member. You continue on in this whole pattern until either all the maffia are killed or all the townspeople are dead. xD Greatest game ever.
Anyway. Then we practiced some more. Annnnd then I came home. By the way, the play is Red Riding Hood. And it's just Red Riding Hood. NOT "Little" Red Riding Hood. xD I get to play the part of Red's best friend, (one of them) girlfriend number three. Basically we're really ditzy and insane which is really fun because it's the complete opposite of what I actually am. xD So basically the performance is Friday. Yay!
Annnd that's it. Bye luffs.

A Walk In The Park
I've pretty much decided that Easter is my favorite holiday...of the moment, anyway. =P That'll only last, til, like, fourth of July rolls around. But, you know. ;)
Anyway. I'm stoked and bummed at the same time. I'm gonna get to go spend a couple weeks in Oregon/Washington, seeing all the family, and then go up to Coulee and spend some time with Melissa up there. I am EXCITED. I can hardly wait.
On the other hand, I'm NOT going to get to go with DeeDee over to the Bitterroot Valley to ride in the mountains in July, because I have to stay home for Drivers Ed. Which is a bummer. Not to mention a huge catch 22. I mean, drivers' ed is obviously a no brainer, because that way I can get my license this fall, when I turn 15 or whatever the deal is. But it pretty much sucks that I can't go to the valley. =( I really wanted to go riding in the mountains, because it would be so FUN. But I guess it's not to be. :/ The plus side is that I will get to do the Wibaux horse show, which is, of course, always lovely. I'll be missing Baker to go to Oregon, but I'll be here for Wibaux and Glendive. I don't much like the Glendive show, but that's alright, because hopefully some of my people will be there, like Angie and Sterling. *nod*
So anyway, I've pretty much got my whole summer mapped out (not that anything will go according to plan xD) so now all I have to do is wait for it to get here...Yeah, like that's such a walk in the park....

Exhaustion
I'm frustrated on behalf of my friend all over again. I was ranting to my parents today. I hate being helpless, and it drives me crazy that I can't even find out how they're doing. Not really. Maybe I need to try harder. I don't know. I'm pretty much at a loss at the current moment. And I'm probably also being a bit dramatic because it's 12:20 a.m. and I should probably be in bed. So don't mind me. Everything seems larger than life when I'm tired, and I'm like, half asleep right now. Still, I felt a need to put something up, just so everyone (not that anyone's actually reading, but, you know) knows that I didn't drop off the face of the earth. Haha.
I getta go play with horses tomorrow, which is always fun! Especially after a week with really nice weather and not being able to ride because of work, because of the cantata. Today the weather was gross. But it's supposed to be lovely tomorrow. So basically, I'm excited! I get to play with the Tennessee Walkers that DeeDee's got in for training, which I'm pretty pumped about, because they're neat little (well, not little, exactly. :p) horses. Then again, I think basically every horse is neat. But still, I haven't had the opportunity to work with any Walkers yet, so I'm pretty excited.
So I guess on that exciting note, I leave you. Good night my dears. <3

I Hate Math
Anyway. Basically. I'm trying to figure out how to hold on to a place and time that's in the past. What happens when memory starts to fail?! The human brain is pathetic in its ability to remember things! So what do we do when we start forgetting something we really don't want to forget?! What then?!
Ugh. Anyway. I"m supposed to be working on math. But I have like half a lesson left. And then 2 other lessons. But those aren't like, top priority. Because I'm sick of math. It's not like 2 lessons is going to be that huge on the grade book. Ugh. I'm awful, I know, don't tell me. But I'm seriously beyond caring. I just want school to be OVER.
And I'm listening to Slide by the Goo Goo Dolls, currently. Great song. And I really want the weather to get nice so I can start really riding again. I wanna just go for MILES. I might have to like, pack myself a lunch and just go on like, a day-long ride one of these weekends when the weather starts getting nicer. Hmm....Wow, I'm seriously going to do that.
Anyway, I should probably get back to doing my stupid, devil-incarnate math. Lurve you alls and wish me lots of luck, because I'm going to need it. Bahahaha.

Lots of Thoughts for the Day
I was reading in Matthew 25, and it was the chapter that has the parables of the talents, and how the master gave one man 5 talents, one man two, and another 1 talent, and how they handled it and how he responded when he returned. And I've spent most of the day trying to figure out what it means for us. I still haven't really come to an answer, other than that we definitely need to use the talents that God has given us, and give them back to Him to the best of our abilities, doing the best with what we are given as we are able to do.
Then there was also the parable of the virgins and the oil lamp, and five took extra oil, and the others didn't, and they got caught outside. And I haven't really figured that one out either, other than that we shouldn't be caught when Christ comes doing something He wouldn't approve of, I guess. But I don't know how that regards to us, because we ARE saved. So I'm trying to figure out why we need to be ready. Being saved would be the main thing, living our lives according to Christ, but that doesn't seem deep enough to me. It's like, stating the obvious, I guess, and I guess I probably tend to read too deeply into things.
But basically I spent most of the day trying to figure out what this means for us, how we need to respond, what we need to do, what it teaches us.
And, on to other, less deep things. Bahaha. I had detention today. First one EVER. For having 3 tardies. Dumb, dumb, DUMB! Oh well. I got most of my stupid Montana History review done, which is good, cuz it was late. But I was gone. So I used that as an excuse. Bad girl, I know, and I don't like excuses, but I did it anyway. Cuz I'm beyond caring. Haha. I'm really xcited for school to end. I'm sick of worrying about it. I still have a bunch of math that I need to get done, but I'll either do it later tonight or in the morning. Because I'm a procrastinator. Or maybe I just won't do it at all. Ooooo, rebel. Tisk tisk tisk. Lol.
Anyway, I guess I don't have much else to say. That was pretty much my pondering for the day. xD

Why Upperclassmen Shouldn't Cut
Upperclassmen have a lot going for them, so they really do not need another perk, like getting to cut in front of younger people in the lunch line.
People try to say that this is the “structure of society,” which is true. In sports, and in businesses, people start at the bottom of the ladder and work their way up. However, in the lunch line, we are not trying to get anywhere. We are just waiting for food, so why should we have to “earn our keep?” There is not much to “earn.” And in sports and businesses, you choose to be there, to be the rookie, to take on rookie jobs. It is hardly fair when we don’t have a choice in the matter. We have to go to lunch.
I also believe it is breeding arrogance in our upperclassmen. They already throw their weight around in sports, making younger kids do the dirty jobs. However, this is not really true to life because they are not going to be on the top when they get out in the world, but they think they should be, and suddenly they don’t know how to handle the bottom. They also tend to abuse the privilege and take things too far.
And if they do manage to make through the ladder without blowing a top, they continue in their arrogance. They believe everyone should bow to them. In a school, we should be teaching our students about life, not breeding arrogance.
These are just a few of the reason upperclassmen shouldn’t be allowed to cut.
Frustrations.
I can stand to hurt. I can deal with whatever life throws at me. *shrug* I'm tough, I can take it. But I CANNOT stand to see my friends hurt, and lately there have been days when I wish that I could do something drastic just to help them out, because I'm sick and tired of seeing them hurt.
And then to not know how they're doing is even WORSE. Because. Well, we all know my imagination, and in the absence of fact, the imagination goes wild. So of course, I tend to imagine my friends as a million times worse than they probably actually are. But that's just me.
So basically. Life sucks about a million times worse than usual because I hate seeing friends do badly. I hate watching them get set up for failure and then getting their butts chewed when, SURPRISE, they fail. It breeds anger and resentment and it kills me to watch them fail. And then I can't even be there to help them back up when they fall.
Life sucks. The End.
